Raul is a recent communication graduate of Oregon State University. Raul has extensive experience working with professionals around the Oregon State University campus and around the Corvallis area to communicate their ideas with the masses by using a combonation of mixed communication stategies, creativity, and professional leadership. Raul is currently the Executive Director of Promotion and Outreach at the Associated Students of Oregon State University and in his spare time he really enjoys, hiking, watching films, writing about himself in the third person.
Interests
Adventurist
There are so many places to explore in the Pacific Northwest and Raul takes full advantage of this. Some of the natural beauty surrounding the Columbia Gorge is breathtaking. He oftern visits many places around the area and still cannot believe how fortunate he is to be living there.
Portland Trail Blazers Fan
Raul has been a long time fan of the Portland Trail Blazers. He really enjoys going to their games and watching how hard they play every year. The team has been doing great these past years and hopes their hard work pays off soon.
Film Enthusiast
There is nothing better to do on a rainy day than sit down on the couch and watch a great psychological thriller. Raul really enjoys films that keep people absorbed in trying to figure out what exactly is happening in the plot. Usually he is able to unveil the plot before the reveal, but to no ones surprise there are many films out there where there is absolutely no hope in finding what exactly was seen during the two or three hours of a film.
Blogger
Raul currently runs a website on wordpress.com called the Hungry Beaver Blog where he reviews restaruants around the area and rates them based on his first experience at the restarant. So far he has reviewed ten restarants around the area, but his list is quickly growing.
